 With the release of Chevalier in 2023, viewers will be treated to yet another music biopic, maintaining the long-standing appeal of the subgenre. However, whereas movies like Ray, Walk the Line, Straight Outta Compton, and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (more of a parody, but along the same lines) portrayed more modern musicians, Chevalier is focusing on a renowned French classical composer who was the equivalent of a rock star in the 18th century.
