Howard Allan Stern (January 12, 1954) is an American comedian, novelist, and radio and television personality. From 1986 until 2005, he was most known for his radio show The Howard Stern Show, which was widely syndicated on terrestrial radio and gained in popularity. He's been a Sirius XM Satellite Radio regular since 2006. Stern got his first radio gig while still at Boston University. From 1976 through 1982, Howard Allan spent his mornings developing his on-air presence at WRNW in Briarcliff Manor, New York, WCCC in Hartford, Connecticut, WWWW in Detroit, Michigan, and WWDC in Washington, D.C.
